About
Tim is a marine engineer with a Class 1 Steam Certificate of Competency. Having spent 14 years as a seafarer with Shell International on LNG vessels, he went ashore and subsequently spent 9 years as a Technical Superintendent and Technical Manager with Northern Marine Management. Since then he went on to hold a number of technical management positions with one of the world’s leading shipowners.
Tim’s industry experience includes involvement in LNG life extension and conversion projects during his time as a ship manager, examination of fleet performance, project management, dry dock trouble shooting and planned maintenance strategies. Recently Tim has been involved in the operation of DFTE plant, exhaust gas scrubber and BWT installations and low Sulphur fuel conversions.
