About
Sean is the renewables manager for the Americas region, responsible for managing and driving the growth of ABL’s renewables service line, including marine warranty surveying (MWS), marine advisory, marine surveying, and related consulting. With extensive experience in maritime and offshore industries, Sean provides project management, investigates energy infrastructure incidents, conducts risk assessments, and conducts marine warranty surveys for complex transport and installation, heavy lift project cargoes, marine operations, and towage approvals.
Sean’s expertise extends to early-stage fixed and floating offshore wind projects, where he advises on T&I strategies, logistics studies, CAPEX/OPEX modeling, and O&M strategy development.
Having conducted surveys for over a decade, Sean collaborates with insurance interests, including Hull & Machinery (H&M), cargo, and Protection & Indemnity (P&I). Sean has also testified as an expert witness for various interests in personal injury and cargo claims. He is a chartered marine engineer with IMarEST and actively supports loss prevention and claims mitigation initiatives within the industry.
