Rakshita Dhar 

Rakshita Dhar is a senior power System Simulation Engineer in the ABL London office, working on the Dynamic positioning (DP), Critical Systems(CS), and Electrification teams. She has vast experience in modelling and simulation work, which comes from her computational PhD with the device modelling research group at the University of Glasgow and her internship experience with STMicroelectronics Edinburgh.

During her time in ABL, she will be carrying out power system simulation studies for AC and DC networks in PSCAD and MATLAB for marine vessel design, hybridization, grid-connected renewable energy, and power electronics converter simulations. She has carried out Power system simulations while working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Mumbai. Her experience in power electronics comes from the projects she completed for Energy Management in Hybrid Electric Vehicles with Artificial Intelligence (machine learning) control systems at the Centre of Excellence- complex and Non-linear Dynamic Systems (CoE-CNDS), along with the design, simulation and prototype of Zero current switching-series resonant (ZCS-SR) converters.
