Rubin Sidhu

Rubin Sidhu, PhD, has spent the last 15-plus years in the solar and energy storage industry in roles focusing on technical due diligence, M&A, project development, business development, R&D, and project finance. Prior to joining OWC, Mr Sidhu led the solar advisory business in North America for UL Solutions, where he oversaw technical due diligence on hundreds of solar and storage projects totalling over 10 GW. Before UL, Mr Sidhu was Managing Director at Hareon Solar with overall responsibility for Hareon Solar’s PV projects business in the US and South Asia. In this role, Mr Sidhu led investments, M&A, and project development for over 300 MW of PV projects. Mr Sidhu holds an MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
