About
Gustavo Cardoso de Oliveira is a Chief Engineer, Marine Consultant, and Shipbuilding Engineer with more than 17 years of experience in the maritime industry. He also has experience in Marine Warranty Surveys, Cargo Surveys, Marine Assurance Inspections, and Risk Assessments, with expertise across various vessel types, including drill ships, semi-submersibles, shuttle tankers, MPSVs, OSVs, oil recovery vessels, and harbour tugs. Gustavo is also an accredited OVID inspector.
Gustavo has a solid background in complex maritime projects, including new building projects, vessel delivery, propulsion upgrades, dry docking, and drilling activities. He has been actively involved in transporting, installing, and decommissioning offshore units, including towing and mooring operations. Additionally, he is experienced in P&I inspections and suitability & conditions surveys for marine vessels and offshore units. His technical expertise extends to propulsion and thruster systems, engines, electronic drives, automation, and dynamic positioning (DP) systems.
