About
Donny served in the Shipyard as QA/QC Engineer before he then joined Falconer Bryan and Associates as Naval Architect / Marine Warranty Surveyor, performing engineering for offshore development transportation and installation of platforms and subsea structures and inspections.
He joined LOC in 2001; since then, he has been actively involved in Marine Warranty Services and consultancy work on major projects in Asia Pacific. Apart from the management and coordination of services, he also carries out reviews of engineering documents, site attendances and approvals, risk assessment workshops, provision of marine operation consultancy/advice and engineering independent verification services. He has vast experience in Load outs, Transportation, Sea-fastening, Heavy Lifting, Float-on & Float-off, float-overs, pipelaying, mooring systems and marine operations.
In 2005, he was seconded to start up LOC’s first office in Tianjin. He managed four offices in China for LOC China (Tianjin, Shanghai Qingdao and Shenzhen) from August 2005 to September 2017.
With more than 20 years’ experience, he is now back in Singapore and focuses on servicing clients in the Energy (O&G, LNG), Renewables and SIA (survey, Inspections and Audits) service offerings, at the same time undertaking business development for the APAC/SEA regions.
