Statement from AqualisBraemar regarding false media claims in Brazilian media

5 December 2016 – In recent days, certain Brazilian media have published incorrect claims that AqualisBraemar is hiring personnel to fill various positions at the company’s Brazil office.

AqualisBraemar regrets to inform that this information is incorrect. AqualisBraemar does not have any vacancies in Brazil at the moment.

The incorrect media reports have misled hundreds of unemployed oil industry professionals, who in turn have sent their CVs to AqualisBraemar.

To publish such false and inaccurate reports without first contacting AqualisBraemar to verify the facts is a clear violation of the media’s ethical guidelines. AqualisBraemar therefore encourages media who have published the incorrect reports to immediately retract them and instead publish this notice to help avoid that even more oil industry professionals are being wrongfully misled.
