AqualisBraemar enters Malaysia

8 October 2015 – Offshore marine and engineering consultancy AqualisBraemar continues its rapid international expansion and opens an office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia is the 14th country AqualisBraemar, which is part of Oslo-listed Aqualis ASA, enters after the company was established in 2013.

“Malaysia holds substantial proven oil and gas reserves from its offshore fields. There are a lot of activities offshore the Peninsular basin in the west and the Sarawak and Sabah basins in the east. We have already had numerous requests to support existing clients operating offshore Malaysia, and having an official presence in KL will facilitate servicing all existing and new clients in Malaysia more efficiently,” says Phil Lenox, Director – Asia Pacific, AqualisBraemar.

The Kuala Lumpur office will offer AqualisBraemar’s full range of services with support from other group offices. However, its initial focus will be on transportation and installation, marine warranty services and engineering.
