About

Harry is a Chartered Civil Engineer experienced Project and Contract Manager, specialising in providing engineering consultancy services to port owners and operators, P&I Clubs, ship owners, lawyers, insurance companies and other members of the maritime engineering community.

He has a broad range of experience across all heavy civil structure types in the marine environment including linkspans, pontoons, quays, jetties, and breakwaters. He is a specialist in the inspection and assessment of marine structures, having undertaken a large number of inspections across all types of marine structures both floating and fixed, including piers, jetties, wharves, dolphins, retaining walls, pontoons, dock and lock gates, and linkspans. He has an in-depth knowledge of the River Thames, London.

He has undertaken extensive site supervision of the repair, maintenance and construction of marine structures including overseas assignments in West Africa. This includes supervision of post-impact repair of concrete and steel jetties and pontoons, as well as heavy piling and shipyard-based construction. This experience enables him to specialise in fixed object damage investigations and to provide technical advice on the nature and extent of damage, repairs solutions, quantum and minimising consequential losses to insurers, P&I clubs and lawyers.

Harry has successfully managed a number of international heavy civil marine construction projects up to $35M in value.
