About

Binh holds a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Ulsan University (South Korea), focusing on Computational Structural Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Evolutionary Algorithm based Optimization. 

Binh has over four years’ experience in the shipbuilding industry as a ship designer and class surveyor and more than ten years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry, principally involved in Loadout, Marine Transportation and Installation (T&I). His expertise is vessel station keeping, stability, hydrodynamic, and structural design. 

Since joining ABL Vietnam (formerly Braemar Offshore) in Vung Tau in 2012, Binh has actively managed and provided engineering consultancy for over 60 Oil & Gas projects across the globe, covering cargo loading, marine transportation & installation, offshore lifting (jacket & topside), pipeline installation, station keeping assessment (both anchoring and dynamic positioning), risers/flexible flowlines disconnection & reinstallation, jacket launching, topside float-over, subsea lifting, float-on & float-off operations, FSO/FPSO life extension, etc. 

Recently, Binh has been involved in some renewable projects to provide technical advice/ engineering/ consultants for transportation and installation of the wind towers, nacelle, and blades.
