About
Luiz is a naval architect working with ABL Germany, based in Hamburg.
A Marine and Ocean Engineer by discipline, Luiz also has a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Industry 4.0 applied to the Maritime Field.
He has experience in maritime and offshore industries, with a multidisciplinary background, during which he gained diverse skills in areas such as researching, planning, and submarine commissioning.
Past experience includes as a Shipyard Planning Engineer, working on the construction of conventional and nuclear submarine projects. Directly responsible for commissioning, scheduling inspections, and tests & trials, he also managed the flow control and scheduling of Modification Orders and Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) and served on the NCR’s technical analysis committee.
His wide experience ranges from conducting applied research in software development to managing offshore projects and handling tasks such as technical document review and ship design.
