About
Laura has naval architecture experience across a wide range of sectors and vessel types: military experience at BAE Systems where she managed the naval architecture team at Portsmouth and undertook over 300 dockings, commercial ship experience at Sealion Shipping where she supported a fleet of offshore vessels and lead new build projects, oil major experience at Shell with LNG and FPSO projects and latterly consultancy experience at our rivals TMC Marine.
Laura’s experience spans the whole lifecycle: from future fuels and decarbonisation, leading new build tenders and construction contracts, through to operations planning, in-service maintenance and decommissioning. As a consultant she has attended damage and condition surveys, worked on salvage and wreck removal projects and delivered expert reports and attended arbitrations for numerous disputes and litigations.
