About
John is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer Surveyor with over 40 years of surveying experience. John is a Chartered Engineer with an Honours degree in Ship Science, a Member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and a Member of the Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Ship Surveyors. John has experience with a leading classification society as a staff surveyor, experience as a marine consultant including new builds, conversions and repairs. He has extensive survey experience with most types of ships as well as yachts, small craft, recreational craft, workboats and fishing vessels.
John is able to conduct Hull & Machinery surveys, P&I surveys, fires, damage to fixed & floating objects, marine warranty surveys, JH2013 audits, project cargo surveys, heavy lifts, towage approvals, collisions, groundings and salvage.
John is a member of ABL Group’s Yacht Team.
