Hamish joined the organisation in 2017 and is the ABL Operations Manager based in Hamburg. Hamish is responsible for delivering projects and expanding ABL’s footprint in the Northern European Energy & Maritime sectors.
Hamish has a wide range of experience in planning, engineering and marine warranty services for offshore and onshore oil and gas and renewables projects and operations. These include skidded and trailered load-outs, structures transportation – dry and towed, GBS and jacket installations, topsides loadouts, risers, flowlines and umbilicals, pipelay, DP operations, tow and mooring and decommissioning projects.
Hamish has a diverse engineering and commercial background and holds Masters Degrees in Naval Architecture in addition to Energy Transition Systems & Technologies. He has previously acted as ABL’s Regional Business Development & Strategy Manager for the European and West African regions, driving novel approaches within the region which have largely been replicated across the ABL Group.
