About
David joined ABL Group in 1988 and is the Director of Energy Services for the Americas.
Based in Houston, David is one of ABL Group’s most senior civil engineers, specialising in the transportation and installation of offshore structures and the investigation of fixed object damages.
David has been responsible for the oversight and/or management of many of the group’s largest and most high-profile marine warranty survey contracts for shallow and deep water offshore oil and gas development projects worldwide. From this perspective, he has extensive knowledge of fixed, floating and subsea structures and is ABL Group’s authority on concrete gravity-based structures.
David’s fixed object work has included the investigation of cause and extent of damages to ports, harbours and marine facilities, advising on repair options and costs and the organisation and management of repair contracts. He has been an expert witness for several fixed object disputes and provided expert testimony both under deposition and in formal written reports.
