About
Daniel is a registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng) and a Senior Engineer at ABL Canada based in Calgary. He is a member of the International Institution of Marine Survey (IIMS) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST). He joined ABL Group in 2014 and has worked in the Lagos and Calgary offices.
Daniel has acted as marine warranty surveyor (MWS) on complex engineering and marine warranty survey projects, including the world’s largest FPSO ‘Egina’ project.
His experience includes marine casualty investigation, vessel/asset/project cargo surveys and third-party engineering document reviews and field attendance for MWS approval work. He has also acted on behalf of Hull & Machinery (H&M) and Protection & Indemnity (P&I) interests. He has expertise in the areas of onshore/offshore heavy lifting, subsea installation, cargo securing and marine transportation.
