Chris has over 13 years of experience with replaying maritime data in the Marine Accident Data Analysis Suite (MADAS). With qualifications in Software Engineering, he has also written software for the analysis of maritime data and other tasks. This has led to him having an in depth knowledge of the data produced by most VDR systems on the market and how to process them. In MADAS, the data from VDR data recordings can be replayed and integrated with AIS and other sources of data to produce powerful reconstructions which can be used as evidence.
Chris joined ABL Group in London having previously working in the LOC Singapore office since December 2019. His work has been used for causation investigation in a number of cases which has proven to be extremely useful. He continues to be able to help our offices around the world with their electronic offering.
