Emek Ersin Takmaz, General Manager of ABL Germany, promoted to Regional Operations Director APAC
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emek Ersin Takmaz as the Regional Operations Director for the ABL Energy & Marine Consulting business in APAC.
Emek is a Naval Architect who has extensive experience in the maritime sector from both EPCI and Consultancy perspectives. After his role as Head of Projects Engineering at a European T&I contractor, he joined ABL Group to set up the local German branch office in 2019 and since then has been successfully leading the entity.

Emek takes this promotion following 4.5 years with ABL Germany. Under his leadership, the business has seen considerable and sustained growth. He and his team have developed long lasting relationships with clients achieving great outcomes across various service offerings in Engineering, MWS, DP & Critical Systems as well as Maritime.
In this exciting and newly introduced role, his main task will be to ensure that the regional business operations are coordinated well across countries, running smoothly to maximise operability and performance.
Reporting to the RMD, he will also have the responsibility for developing and implementing strategies as well as establishing fruitful relationships with our existing and new clients on the large array of ABL Group’s service portfolio.

Emek will be based in Singapore and his new role will officially commence on the 1st of January 2024.
