ABL Maritime upgrades to the newest version of the MADAS software, MADAS Pro

ABL Maritime is pleased to announce that we’ve upgraded to the newest version of the MADAS software, MADAS Pro. This upgrade increases our capabilities in expert analysis during marine casualty investigations and offers an even more complete 2D reconstruction of collisions, allisions, groundings and strandings to further assist our clients in their efforts.

MADAS can extract and process data from a variety of sources including Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), Voyage Data Recorders (VDR), Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). MADAS is capable of producing highly professional 2D reconstructions of collisions, allisions, groundings or strandings.

Paul Martin

”We’re thrilled to have the new iteration of MADAS at hand to further support our clients in their marine casualty investigations. Staying up to date with our technological capabilities further demonstrates our commitment to provide a best-in-class service.”

Paul Martin, Managing Director Maritime (Europe & W. Africa)

MADAS Pro allows ABL’s marine investigators to provide a realistic replay of events fully integrated with the vessel instrumentation and audio tracks (where appropriate) in order to reach a more considered understanding; with the resulting reconstruction being an invaluable tool for all interested parties.

The new version offers additional key new features such as Official ENC chart support, ENC chart display option, increased update rate to produce smooth replays under any replay speed, key data value display options and more…

‘’We are very excited to expand our technical capabilities by upgrading to MADAS pro. We are looking forward to providing an even better service to our clients as there is a huge amount we can do with their data to provide an even more accurate representation during marine incident investigations. ‘’

Chris Cox, Technical Expert (Maritime Electronic Data Analyst), ABL Maritime

These display features come in addition to the already comprehensive list of capabilities offered by the previous version of MADAS.
