About
Richard has a master’s degree in Naval Architecture and is the Offshore Manager based in the ABL Singapore Office.
Having joined ABL Group (then LOC) in 2011, Richard has held positions in multiple offices, including UK, Australia, the United States of America, and Singapore, for both ABL and sister company Longitude Engineering.
Richard provides naval architecture technical expertise across various aspects of marine casualties, claims, disputes and investigations, acting on behalf of P&I Clubs, H&M Underwriters and maritime lawyers. This includes stability and motion analysis, cargo securing, and moorings.
His experience also includes marine warranty services with involvement in many major and high-value projects and cargos globally, including construction, offshore installation, load-out, transportation, load-in, commissioning and decommissioning. As well as project management for vessel refit and superintendency roles.
Richard is a member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects.
