About
Nava is a Foreign-going Chief Engineer with extensive seagoing experience on AHT / PSV offshore vessels, Merchant vessels, rigs, FPSO, OSV, DSV and onshore experience as a Class surveyor (Bureau Veritas), commissioning engineer and technical superintendent.
Extensive knowledge of DP/DP2 system, commissioning new build of a DP Class DSCV, vessel being built in China with state-of-the-art technology, sailed as Chief Engineer on several DP Class 2 AHTS/PSV’s. DP assurance inspections on several offshore DP Class construction / diving support / AHTS vessels / offshore rigs as well DP 2 ROV, Saturation Dive and Air Dive vessels. Sea trials and FMEA proving trials.
Engaged in loadouts, towage operations and sailaway towing, rig moving, anchor handling operation, as well as Dry Bulk / Liquid / Deck and Hazardous cargo Handling operations.
