Afia McClenaghan

Afia McClenaghan, LL.B (Hons), LL.M (Oil and Gas), from St. Albert, Alberta, has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. Having worked in various subsea and energy organizations in contract and commercial roles, including review and negotiation of terms and conditions, partaking in technical and commercial assessments of suppliers and subcontractors, reviewing and delivering ITT, RFQ and RFI responses to various clients and developing a strong business development acumen, which has led to securing multimillion dollar contracts with key clients in the midstream and downstream sectors.

In late 2019, Afia was given the opportunity to open legacy Add Energy’s first Canadian office in Calgary, Alberta, where Canada’s first major multi-year and multimillion-dollar project was secured in early 2020. The team in Calgary continues to grow and diversify into new sectors and work collaboratively with other business segments within ABL Group.
