About
Jeongmin has over 10 years of onboard experience as a marine engineer, working on naval and commercial vessels, including crude oil tankers, container ships, and bulk carriers. He then spent over a decade in the global hull and machinery insurance industry as a marine surveyor and local correspondent in Korea. Additionally, he contributed to multiple offshore wind farm projects as a Marine Warranty Surveyor, participating in suitability surveys and offshore site attendance to ensure the successful completion of these projects.
Specialisms:
Jeongmin has specialised knowledge and experience with all types of commercial vessels, including wind farm installation vessels, cable-laying vessels, floating cranes, Jack-up vessels, LNG carriers, crude oil tankers, bulk carriers, and container vessels. He handles H&M, and P&I claim surveys, as well as JH-2019/007A & 2013/007B condition surveys, JHA-143 shipyard risk assessments, voyage approvals, pre-purchase condition surveys, and internal audits for ISM and ISPS. Additionally, he performs MWS suitability surveys and eCMID inspections within the wind farm industry.
