Major Levers for Maritime Decarbonisation: Facing Unknown Risks

Shipping contributes 3% of global GHG emissions and is one of the hardest sectors to abate. In this presentation, we intend to provide an overview of the decarbonisation challenges facing the sector and present the major levers to achieve it.

Having established this broad context, this presentation looks at the uncertainties related to risk, such as the undefined regulatory framework, novel technology risks, and other factors.

The technical presentation will be followed by a Q&A and a summary of last month’s high-value maritime case reports, which will only be presented to attendees in the room.

When: Thursday 20th June, 9:30 AM UK time

Where:

The marine casualty case reports will only be presented to in-person attendees.
