About
Jonathan joined ABL Group in 2017 as a Project Director for the energy group of in London. He has over twenty years’ experience as a structural engineer / naval architect, working predominantly for marine consultants serving the marine and offshore industries. Jonathan leads a team of engineers and is responsible for the management, direction and coordination of selected MWS oil & gas projects.
Jonathan has been involved in numerous marine warranty projects, with particular experience gained on transportation projects, including jack-ups, semisubmersibles, pressure vessels, pipe bundles and other project cargo.
He has extensive knowledge and experience of designing, analysing and surveying a range of fixed and floating offshore structures including mobile offshore jack-up units, semi-submersibles and barges. In addition to performing numerous site specific assessments and location approvals, he has been involved in writing jack-up integrity management systems & safety cases, conducting structural integrity investigations and has written and conducted geotechnical training programs to jack-up Masters.
