About
Danny is a Lead Naval Architect of Longitude Engineering with 20 years experience, and is responsible for the oversight and preparation of engineering calculations including stability analysis, motions analysis, mooring analysis, and operational procedures. He has worked in a myriad of offshore transportation and installation projects, as well as the design of vessels such as CLVs, FPSOs and FLNGs.
He is involved in a myriad of offshore transportation and installation projects and worked both as a naval architect for analysis and as a field engineer during operations. He participated in the design of CLVs, FPSOs, and FLNGs, leading design discussions in compliance with flag administration, classification society requirements, client requirements, international codes and standards, as well as interface management. He also has background in marine systems having served onboard vessel as a marine engineer for 6 years.
He oversaw various work packages from contract set-up, project set-up, technical and commercial project execution from initiation to close out, dealing with both end clients and subcontractor management interfaces. He was also an offshore client representative for wind farm installation and floating solar installation.
Danny is a Singaporean citizen, a native English speaker and fluent in Chinese.
