Stuart Murray

Stuart Murray is a Chartered Engineer (FEANI Registered) with a robust background in asset management, maintenance management, reliability, and operations, leveraging his extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry to support clients worldwide. His global expertise spans more than 20 years, during which time he has been instrumental in managing risk, assuring asset integrity, and improving processes to help clients achieve their business goals. Stuart holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Asset Management, which underpin his technical proficiency and leadership capabilities.

Throughout his career, Stuart has held various significant roles, including Head of Maintenance at Maersk FPSOs and Principal Engineer at Wood Group. His contributions have been pivotal in numerous high-profile projects, such as the BP Global Maintenance Build and Shell Maintenance and Integrity Execution. Stuart is also known for his thought leadership, having delivered presentations on asset integrity and data management at conferences in the UK and North America. His commitment to excellence and continuous improvement is evident in his role in developing software tools, such as ABL’s Effio, providing technical quality assurance, and mentoring junior staff.
