About
Daryl has experience in engineering and site supervision using the Floatover method for offshore platforms. His expertise also extends to supervising the loadout of jackets and bridges, as well as the dry transportation of topsides and offshore structures using SPMTs onto heavy lift vessels (HLVs). His skills include structural design and detailing for Floatover engineering, encompassing grillage, leg mating units, deck separation units, topsides seafastening, offshore jacket fender outfitting, vessel accommodation outfitting, towing and mooring gear.
Additionally, he has experience in FPSO module integration, module lifting configurations, equipment seafastening on transportation barges, and FPSO installation sequences. He is self-motivated and can easily adapt to various working environments, thriving in management positions with minimal supervision. He possesses strong administrative, coordination, and organisational skills.
Previously, he worked as IT support for our APAC region. In terms of technical skills, he excels in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) and has strong capabilities in structural detailing, outfitting, and marine-related operation drawings. His project experience includes the new builds of coastal tankers, jack-ups, semi-submersibles, FPSOs, FPSO installations, and Floatover installations for topsides.
Furthermore, he has developed good relationships with suppliers and contractors and possesses strong site supervision and communication abilities for fabrication work.
