LOC Presenting at IUMI Webinar on Marine Decarbonisation

LOC is pleased to be participating in IUMI’s upcoming webinar on the following topic:

IMO’s Strategy on the Reduction of GHG Emissions – and Ways to Achieve it

16th February, 9:00-10:30 CET & 16:00-17:30 CET (Hamburg-time)

LOC maritime civil engineering consultant and marine decarbonisation specialist, George Savvopoulos, will join the webinar to discuss the decarbonisation initiatives in shipping finance and chartering sectors, intended to support the IMO in achieving their 2050 targets.

George will be joined by the Head of Air Pollution and Energy Efficiency at the IMO’s marine environment division, Roel Hoenders. Roel will talk us through the IMO’s new carbon emission reduction and energy efficiency measures for the world fleet.

The webinar will be followed by a live Q&A session and questions can be submitted prior to the event via email to education@iumi.com.
