Technical Topic: Using Digital Tools in Marine Casualty Investigations

Blurb:

As the world becomes more digital, the way in which we are able to conduct investigations into marine incidents has been enhanced. Data is everywhere, and alongside it there are more and more software packages to analyse it.

The March ABL Maritime Mkt. Briefing will discuss some of the ways in which these tools can be used and the benefits they offer. This includes MADAS – the marine accident data analysis suite, which can be used to build reconstructions of incidents using data from a variety of sources.

  1. You will understand what data is out there
  2. You will discover what software tools are available

The technical presentation will be followed by a live Q&A and a summary of last month’s marine casualty case reports.
