This month’s market briefing will feature a technical presentation on Global Ship Repair Costs, and a summary of last month’s marine casualty case reports.

Technical Presentation

The ship repair market has been through a period of significant flux in the last 18 months. With that in mind, our technical presentation will look at the reasons behind recent shifts in the sector, and where we think the market might be heading in the short term ahead.

The presentation will look at the pricing differences in various global locations and discuss the factors impacting the ship repair market.

It will also discuss evolving techniques and procedures in ship repair, as the market responds to the challenges it faces currently and looking ahead.

What you will learn:

  • Ship repair costs
  • Ship repair practice evolution
  • A look ahead

The technical presentation will be followed by a selection of marine casualty case reports from the past month, presented by Maritime Civil Engineering Consultant, Wei-Yang Tan
