Our consultants can provide expertise and guidance throughout these projects, from SECE identification, Performance Standards development and the creation and implementation of Performance Standard Assurance Routines.
Project overview
Due to revised internal standards and requirements, the client’s existing Performance Standards were due for revision and presented multiple opportunities for enhancement. These included areas for refinement to ensure;
- Completeness
- Alignment with local legislative requirements
- Synchronisation with the client’s global and international standards
Additionally, there was room for improvement in ensuring alignment with the client’s designated Independent Verification Body (IVB).
What we did
ABL used the client’s existing performance standards as a foundation to deliver the following 3 steps:
1. Information gathering
- Collated all relevant information including international standards, client requirements and local legislative requirements
- This gave us a full understanding of the landscape within which
our client operates, laying the groundwork for following actions
2. Interactive workshops for collaboration
- Conducted workshops to engage with the client’s Technical Authorities and designated IVB (Independent Verification Body) to review Performance Standards
- These interactive sessions facilitated in-depth discussions with stakeholders, creating more informed decision-making
3. Development of Performance Standards
- Developed a full suite of approximately 95 Performance Standards ready for use
- The alignment of international best practices with the client’s specific needs supports the client with their operational excellence journey
Key deliverables and benefits
- The client has a full suite of around 95 Performance Standards, signed off by client Technical Authorities and designated IVB (Independent Verification Body)
- These Performance Standards:
- Comply with local legislative requirements
- Are aligned with the client’s global standards and international standards
- Are agreed for use by the client’s designated Independent Verification Body (IVB)
