LOC China marks 15 years!

Last week marked a significant milestone for LOC China, as it celebrated its 15 year anniversary, since being established in 2005.

LOC Group, the premier marine and engineering consulting firm, founded in 1979, expanded into China in 2005, with offices in Shanghai and Tianjin.

LOC China is committed to providing market-leading marine and engineering consulting in all areas of offshore transportation and construction across shipping and offshore energy markets. The team have also played a pivotal role in the expansion of LOC’s footprint in the Asian offshore wind market.

As well as expanding its local services, the team have also provided crucial support for many high-profile Marine Warranty Survey (‘MWS’) projects, facilitating offshore and on-site attendances for critical marine operations in China and elsewhere in Asia.

LOC China offers a blend of multi-disciplined engineering and marine knowledge with practical experience and expertise to provide a unique range of consulting, survey and marine casualty response services across all aspects of the marine and offshore energy markets.

The milestone is particularly poignant as LOC China only recently returned to business as usual in line with local government advice on COVID-19. During this unprecedented time, the LOC China team pulled together to resource locally several offshore attendances for ongoing LOC projects, in addition to securing a number of new opportunity wins across renewables and oil & gas markets, including rig moving, decommissioning work and offshore wind development.
