ABL Appoints Richard Grant as Country Manager for Singapore
ABL is pleased to announce the appointment of naval architect and offshore professional Richard Grant as Country Manager for its operations in Singapore, effective immediately.
Richard brings over 15 years of experience in offshore and marine consultancy, combining deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. Since joining ABL in 2011, he has held a variety of roles across the UK, Australia, the USA, and Singapore, where he has been based since 2017.
In Singapore, Richard has been instrumental in the continued growth of ABL’s offshore service line, most recently serving as Offshore Manager. In this role, he has led the successful delivery of complex marine warranty survey (MWS) and engineering consultancy projects, supporting clients across Asia Pacific in de-risking and optimising offshore operations
With a background in naval architecture, Richard also brings specialist expertise in maritime casualty response and loss prevention. His ability to combine technical insight with operational delivery has made him a trusted advisor to clients across the maritime, offshore oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors.

As Country Manager, Richard will lead ABL’s operations in Singapore, overseeing client engagement, strategic growth, and project delivery. He will work closely with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with ABL’s broader objectives, while upholding the company’s commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.
