Nadrah Zaabar, Loss Adjuster | ABL Malaysia

What do you do at AqualisBraemar LOC?

I work as a Loss Adjuster in the Malaysia office, where I aid insured and insurers to assess claims mainly related to the Energy industry.

What excites you the most about our industry?

I have always been intrigued by what happens after an incident takes place, which is often overlooked or forgotten over time. I also think that the industry is undergoing many interesting changes. I am glad to be able to be at the forefront of supporting and guiding clients as they navigate new challenges and market changes, as well as to have the opportunity to be continuously learning at a steep curve alongside my colleagues.

What made you join AqualisBraemar LOC?

Apart from the opportunity to work on various, post loss, complex cases, what drew me to join ABL Adjusting is really its people, culture, and the support that I have received so far. One of the things I find most surprising is how easy it is to have a frank conversation with one another, including with management, and of course, to have a few good laughs together.

What do you do when you are not working?

I like being outdoors and volunteering. I build homes for indigenous people, Orang Asli, in Malaysia with Epic over three-day weekends when I can. During the pandemic, I spent most of my time volunteering at a nearby vaccination centre or traveling to rural villages in mobile, outreach vaccination units with Mercy Malaysia or distributing food aid and basic medical supply with 4×4 Relief Malaysia. When I am not out and about, I like spending time with my family and friends over numerous fine Malaysian cuisines.
