A cracking furnace!

3 April 2018 – When the world’s largest modularised cracking furnace was recently delivered from the Wison Zhoushan Yard in China, AqualisBraemar acted as marine warranty surveyor for the load-out, transportation and load-in.

AqualisBraemar provided the marine warranty services to Wison Offshore & Marine. AqualisBraemar’s office in Shanghai is managing the project.

The furnace is designed to produce 200,000 tonnes of ethylene per year, weighing 3,689.6 tonnes with 53.31 metres in height. This is the first of the nine sets of cracking furnaces that Wison will fabricate for a 4,000ktpa integrated refining and petrochemical complex in the Zhejiang Province, China.
