Add Energy secures maintenance deal for new FPSO

A leading international asset management consultancy, service and software provider has announced the award of a significant new contract.

Add Energy has been employed by a leading FPSO operator to complete the master data and maintenance management regime build within the company’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for its new FPSO.

Building on a long-standing relationship and in line with a client desire to further streamline and standardize its approach to maintenance management across its fleet of FPSOs, the scope of work will focus on the development of a maintenance management regime designed to protect the integrity of the asset, assure reliability, and optimize maintenance expenditure.

The CMMS build project will be delivered remotely by a team of maintenance and reliability expert engineers and consultants from the company’s offices in Aberdeen whilst the asset undergoes the outfitting of its topsides process modules in Asia.

At the heart of the project is Add Energy’s proprietary master data build software, Effio™, a cloud-based tool which is capable of replicating the FPSO operators CMMS environment and provides a more effective, efficient, and standardized method for building a master asset data hierarchy, assigning criticality, and allocating the required maintenance work orders to equipment tags.

In addition to the time and cost efficiencies that Effio™ unlocks in the delivery of a CMMS build solution, the experience of the team, Add Energy’s suite of proven CMMS build processes and established relationship with FPSO operator were key to the company being awarded this contract.
