Breakfast Briefing – Fixed Object Design

For the first in our series of Breakfast Briefings in 2019, George Savvopoulos and Wei-Yang Tan presented “Understanding Fixed Object Design” to P&I Clubs and Insurers. Their presentation aimed to provide an introduction to the planning and design concepts for ports and terminals. It detailed the process of understanding the data, the parameters and processes that drive the development of modern port infrastructure, and their importance in the handling of fixed object damage claims.
