ABL and Maridive & Oil Services in marine assurance agreement
Energy and marine consultancy ABL has signed a master services agreement (MSA) with Maridive & Oil Services – the owner and operator of Egypt’s largest offshore fleet.
Under the MSA, which is valid for two years, ABL’s operations in Egypt can be called upon to provide marine assurance and risk services to support Maridive’s fleet operations. The services include industry standard audits, vessel and marine asset survey, inspections and audits, pre-purchase surveys, DP assurance and consulting, and critical systems consulting including FMEA and FMECA.

“We have a long-stand relationship and collaboration with Maridive, providing marine assurance and DP services. This includes our successful collaboration over an industry innovation to improve performance and reduce risk in DP2 vessels during stern thruster changeover. This MSA is a reflection of that beneficial industry collaboration – supporting the optimum performance of offshore vessels for safe and successful operations in Egyptian energy.”
Tamer Gamil, Country Manager, ABL Egypt
Maridive manages a fleet in the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, North and West Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Its fleet includes offshore support vessels (OSVs), mooring boats, diving support vessels (DSVs), multi-purpose vessels (MPSVs), platform support vessels (PSVs), and anchor-handling tugs (AHTS).
“We are pleased to formalize our continued collaboration with ABL through this MSA. At Maridive & Oil Services, our priority is to maintain the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and reliability across our fleet. ABL’s proven expertise in marine assurance and DP services, along with our joint efforts in driving practical innovations, makes them a valued partner in supporting our operations. This agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering safe and high-performance offshore services to our clients.”
