Specialty Ships – Cable Ships
ABL’s Marine Surveyor, Rob Murdoch, will present our February briefing on ‘Specialty Ships – Cable Ships’, providing a brief history of subsea cables and the ships that install and maintain them. You’ll also learn about the differences in specialty ships and the equipment they require to carry out the laying and repairs of subsea fibre optic cables.
The technical presentation will be followed by a Q&A and finalised with a summary of last month’s high-cost marine casualties.
