AqualisBraemar strengthens London adjusting team

Olivier Decombes

We are delighted to announce that we have continued to strengthen our London office with Olivier Decombes joining the adjusting team as a Director.

After graduating from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques Nancy, France with a Chem. Eng. Degree, Olivier began a 12-year career with Schlumberger as a field engineer, working in challenging environments in Africa and Venezuela. Olivier transitioned into the Energy Insurance market working in both claims and underwriting positions, where he developed a deep understanding of his clients and their coverage needs in the Upstream, Downstream, Midstream and Power sectors. He joins AqualisBraemar from Barbican Insurance Group where Olivier was Head of Energy, Power & Utilities.

“Olivier joins with a comprehensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and a strong understanding of all stakeholders in the Insurance market. Olivier is part of the ongoing strengthening of our UK, Europe and African adjusting team and I really look forward to working with him”. said Allan Kelly, Managing Director of the group’s adjusting division in Europe and West Africa. “In December, we launched an international recruitment drive to ramp up our adjusting business serving all aspects of the oil, gas, power and engineering sectors. Olivier’s appointment is part of that continuing campaign. I will be announcing other new members to the team soon.”
