At ABL Group, we consider diversity and inclusion (D&I) to be a clear ‘win-win’ situation.

Our D&I Charter
A key component to our social sustainability, as part of our wider ESG commitments, we have a dedicated centralised D&I committee, focussed on developing, implementing and monitoring a strategy that is flexible to grow with our company.

People: D&I in action drives greater employee satisfaction and engagement, stimulating development and growth, and supporting staff retention and attraction
Products & Services: A more inclusive environment generates more creativity and innovation in problem-solving, creating more inclusive products and services
Partners: It’s important to our clients and shareholders as well that we reflect the D&I and social commitments, that we talk about
Processes: We are continually investing in new processes that will drive employee empowerment and increase psychological safety, in turn enhancing our operational excellence

Showcasing our commitment to D&I for our colleagues, future colleagues, our clients and our shareholders, our committee collaborates across ABL Group companies to develop initiatives aligned with our ESG goals, our Group company purpose and our values.
Some of our actions so far:
Annual dedicated group-wide D&I survey to monitor annually changes in employee sentiment.
Selected as one of 12 engineering organisations to the UK Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Inclusive Leadership Programme.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) established to encourage open thought and discussion on different areas of D&I.
D&I Regional Advisors appointed to drive the global embedding or the strategy.
Company Policies Working Group to support process excellence and development.
Awareness Working Group to encourage inclusivity in our behaviours across the Group.
