Then this role provides an opportunity to be part of Offshore Wind Consultants’ and East Point Geo’s specialist offshore personnel team. We have a strong and growing international portfolio of renewable energy projects that require the resourcing and management of offshore consultants acting as client representatives and managers for offshore surveys. The projects are dynamic and the role is client-facing, requiring someone who is experienced with offshore personnel management, project management and team management.

To support growth, we require an Offshore Personnel Manager with experience in offshore marine operations who can manage a dedicated team that source and provide consulting personnel for renewable energy projects.
The role is responsible for managing consultants acting as client representatives and managers for our offshore and onshore renewable energy projects. This requires recruiting, hiring and scheduling assignments for consultants. You would be responsible for sourcing suitable consultants, coordinating rotations, arranging crew changes and ensuring efficient management of consultant mobilisation and de-mobilisation to client requirements. You would manage a team of dedicated support staff, having overall responsibility for the project management of offshore personnel projects, managing client and consultant contracts, and project administration and documentation.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Recruiting, hiring and scheduling assignments for consultants
- Coordinating rotations and crew changes to meet client requirements
- Project management including contracts, project documentation and administration
- Managing a team of dedicated support staff
- Contribute to tenders and bids
The role is available in either EPG’s Norwich or Oxford offices or OWC’s London office, with our project portfolio delivered seamlessly across all locations.
Qualifications and experience required
We are looking for an excellent communicator and organiser with strong time management ability, who is able to prioritise tasks, delegating where required. Suitable candidates should be able to work under their own initiative and be capable of adapting rapidly to changing priorities across multiple projects.
- 5 – 10 years (or more) experience, with at least 5 years in marine personnel operations
- Excellent communicator, organiser and time manager
- Ability to manage a team
- Strong project management ability, including dealing with contracts, documentation and administration
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- (Preferably) Qualified to degree level in a suitable subject
