The agreement is with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iog.co.uk\/\">Independent Oil &amp; Gas plc<\/a> (\u201cIOG\u201d), the development and production company focused on becoming a substantial UK gas producer, for the Phase 1 of its Core Project.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 1 encompasses three fields in the UK sector of the Southern North Sea: Blythe, Elgood and Southwark. IOG is 50% owner and operator of these three fields, with the remaining 50% interests held by CalEnergy Resources (UK) Limited. Following Final Investment Decision in October 2019, the Phase 1 development is scheduled to come into production in Q3 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The contract will see LOC provide <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/services\/loss-prevention\/marine-warranty-survey\/\">MWS services<\/a> for the<a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/sector\/oil-gas\/offshore-oil-gas-development\/\"> marine transportation and installation operations<\/a> of the Blythe and Southwark platforms and related pipelines and subsea facilities. Work will mainly be carried out by the Group\u2019s London office, with support from LOC\u2019s European subsidiaries and specialist capabilities from the <a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/offices\/europe-africa\/aberdeen\/\">Aberdeen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.longitude-engineering.com\/\">Longitude Engineering<\/a> offices.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/loc-group.com\/our-people\/shai-tzucker\/\">Shai Tzucker<\/a>, Project Director &amp; Energy Operations Director for Europe at LOC Group, commented:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are very pleased to have been awarded our first contract with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iog.co.uk\/\">IOG<\/a> on this important project in the UK Southern North Sea.
