AqualisBraemar were appointed on behalf of Underwriters to provide the Marine Warranty Surveys (MWS) and the machinery inspection surveys. The excellent teamwork and pre-planning between Carnival, Boskalis<\/a> and AqualisBraemar enabled the safe load-on and lift of the vessel.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Due to a lack of available dry docks in the area, a novel solution was proposed by Carnival<\/a> to charter the Boka Vanguard<\/a> to be used as a temporary dry dock to accomplish the repairs and get the Carnival Vista<\/a> back in service as soon as possible. The Boka Vanguard, with its innovative open-ended main deck, was the only heavy lift vessel with the capacity to perform the required operations on a cruise ship of this size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
