LOC Group, a leading provider of services to the shipping industry, is pleased to announce Stephen Wood\u2019s appointment to the role of marine and salvage consultant. Stephen will join LOC\u2019s maritime team, where he will develop and strengthen the Group\u2019s position as industry experts in salvage and wreck removal.<\/p>\n
Stephen is a naval architect with a career spanning over 23 years in the maritime sector and he is currently a member of the panel of Special Casualty Representatives (\u201cSCR\u201d), a position he has held since 2013.<\/p>\n
From 2005 to 2012 Stephen worked as a Salvage Engineer and Salvage Master for Titan Salvage, working on complicated refloats and wreck removals on many types of vessels.<\/p>\n
In 2012 Stephen joined LOC Singapore where he worked on many major casualties and wreck removals within the Middle and Far East. In 2016 he returned to the UK and founded Archimedean Limited, an advisory business to provide a range of surveys and consultancy services to the marine industry.<\/p>\n
