Further, the Chinese shipowner has awarded AqualisBraemar a contract to supervise the construction of a second wind turbine installation vessel,<em> OuYang 2<\/em>.<\/h3>\n<p>The wind turbine installation vessel is a self-elevating vessel with a large open deck. A wind turbine installation vessel can rapidly raise its hull clear of the water to provide a stable platform from which offshore construction and maintenance work can be conducted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6444\" src=\"http:\/\/aqualisbraemar.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/20181010_165117.jpg\" alt=\"wind turbine installation\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/20181010_165117.jpg 800w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/20181010_165117-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/20181010_165117-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ouyang Offshore\u2019s wind turbine installation vessel is a four-legged, DP1, self-propelled vessel with a working depth of 50 meters. It can house up to 75 people and is suitable for offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance work.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are very pleased with the launch of the OuYang 1 wind turbine installation vessel. It has been completed on time, at the right quality and on budget, with safe execution throughout the project,\u201d<\/em> says Mr. Chen Lin, Deputy General Manager at Ouyang Offshore Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>AqualisBraemar supervised the construction of the <em>OuYang 1 <\/em>wind turbine installation vessel. The company\u2019s on-site team monitored and supervised the construction of the wind turbine installation vessel, to ensure that all work was carried out in accordance with the contract specifications plus flag and class requirements.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6445\" src=\"http:\/\/aqualisbraemar.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_1324.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_1324.jpg 800w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_1324-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_1324-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>AqualisBraemar\u2019s offices in Shanghai and Singapore managed the construction supervision for <em>OuYang 1<\/em> and will now take on the same role for <em>OuYang 2<\/em> new-build wind turbine installation vessel.
