AqualisBraemar and OWC presented their combined capabilities at a floating offshore wind turbine showcase event in Aberdeen.<\/h3>\n

Martin Brown and Stuart Mill<\/a> of AqualisBraemar, and John Macaskill of OWC manned the stand at the EIC<\/a>\u2019s Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) showcase in Aberdeen last Thursday, September\u00a06th. This exciting event brought together over 100 delegates to learn about future prospects for floating offshore wind turbines.<\/p>\n

The event highlighted the worldwide long-term potential of the market and the need for sharing knowledge between wind developers and offshore specialists. This echoes the combined skills that AqualisBraemar and OWC bring to floating offshore wind projects. During the panel session, some interesting questions were asked. Such topics included mooring redundancy, safe access for inspection and repair for developments, consisting of multiple floating offshore wind turbines, and how to change out major components such as blades and gearboxes.<\/p>\n
