{"id":61968,"date":"2024-05-09T08:35:41","date_gmt":"2024-05-09T07:35:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/?p=61968"},"modified":"2024-05-09T08:35:42","modified_gmt":"2024-05-09T07:35:42","slug":"orsted-appoints-abl-to-provide-marine-warranty-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/all-media\/news\/orsted-appoints-abl-to-provide-marine-warranty-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00d8rsted appoints ABL to provide marine warranty survey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>\u00d8rsted has appointed energy and marine consultancy <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/\"><strong>ABL<\/strong><\/a><strong> to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/loss-prevention\/marine-warranty-survey\/mws-renewables\/\">marine warranty survey services for the offshore transportation and installation (T&amp;I)<\/a> of WTGs and Cables package for <a href=\"https:\/\/orsted.com\/\">\u00d8rsted<\/a>\u2019s 920 MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in Taiwan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Greater Changhua 2b and 4 includes the installation of 66 bottom-fixed wind turbines in water depths between 23.8 and 44.1 metres located 35-60 kilometres off the coast of Changhua County, Taiwan. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ABL\u2019s scope of work includes reviewing, surveying and approving all operations relating to the transportation and installation of all wind turbine generator components and subsea cabling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This latest award follows ABL\u2019s MWS appointment on the 900 MW Greater Changhua 1 and 2a offshore wind farms.
