{"id":58608,"date":"2024-03-12T11:49:16","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T11:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/?p=58608"},"modified":"2024-03-12T11:49:17","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T11:49:17","slug":"abl-to-support-salamanca-deepwater-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/all-media\/news\/abl-to-support-salamanca-deepwater-project\/","title":{"rendered":"ABL to support Salamanca Deepwater Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Energy and marine consultancy <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/\"><strong>ABL<\/strong><\/a><strong> has been awarded a contract by <a href=\"https:\/\/llog.com\/\">LLOG Exploration<\/a> to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/loss-prevention\/marine-warranty-survey\/mws-oil-and-gas\/\">marine warranty survey (MWS)<\/a> services for the subsea development of the Salamanca development project in the Gulf of Mexico.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Salamanca development project envisages the build-out of the Leon and Castille oil fields in water depths ranging from 1,800 to 2,000 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The subsea portion of the project includes the installation of three infield subsea pipeline systems, as well as the design and fabrication of subsea structures. The pipelines will run from the wellsite to the Salamanca floating production facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the terms of the contract, ABL will provide technical document review and approval of all project critical procedures, drawings and documentation, and suitability inspections of the proposed fleet for subsea operations. ABL will also provide on-site attendances to review and approve transportation and mobilisation operations of project assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/David-Ballands.jpg\" alt=\"David Ballands\" class=\"wp-image-23941\" style=\"width:187px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/David-Ballands.jpg 600w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/David-Ballands-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/abl-group.com\/abl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/David-Ballands-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased to be supporting LLOG as MWS on the Salamanca subsea development.
